House Raffle
Yesterday I had the opportunity to take part in the drawing process for the raffle of a 2.1 million dollar dream home with Community Action of Marin. It interesting and exciting to see how it all works; I will definitely be donating more time to them. They have a lot of programs designed to help families in need. There were 330 winners of runner up prizes who all got a chance to win the final grand prize. One person was present to accept a $1000 prize. What a great group of people down there at Community Action of Marin. Here are some photos I took of the event:

Phelps With Bong (Don't Apologize)
It is not disgraceful for an athlete to smoke pot. Grass is not a "performance enhancing drug" such as steroids. If anything, the photo of Michael Phelps with a bong only made him more human and thus more likable in my book. I was however, a little disappointed by his hast to apologize for his behavior.
When will we stop punishing people for being human? Pot has been a part of civilization for as long as civilization itself.
